MGA SOURCE ONLINE FOR AGENTS

Policy information on active customers is available 24 hours a day, including basic policy details.

Information including limits, deductibles, and the type of coverage can be quickly obtained within MGA source online. The information provided in this area does not alter or replace actual insurance policy wording. Refer to the actual policy when necessary.

To access MGA source online, click on the Agents Login tab on the home page. After entering user id and password, the following page looks like this:

To issue a certificate of insurance on an active insured, first locate the policy using one of the following search methods.

To bring up all policies for an agency, leave both search fields blank and simply click submit query
To bring up a specific policy, enter the policy number in the proper search field, and click on submit query. Entering the policy prefix will pull all active policies with that prefix.
Entering the insured's name (any word within the named insured) in the Insured Name Search box is another way to locate a policy. Click the submit query after entering the name. Hint- shorten the name entered if you have difficulty finding the policy using this approach.

After clicking on Submit Query, a screen will appear that shows all policies meeting the criteria entered for the search.

Click on the policy desired to open another screen that will list policy holder, policy information, and a link for Policy Detail.

Click on the "Click here for Policy Detail".

Click on "Certificates of Insurance".
Click on "Add Certificate Holder".

Here is where the user can fill in the necessary information to add a certificate holder.

A certificate can be printed (Adobe Acrobat) if entries are made in blocks on the left hand side ONLY. The PDF file may be saved or printed. If anything is changed in the blocks on the right, a message box appears and First Western will need to verify the information, as an endorsement may be needed.
